Weather in 2 weeks?

Its what you expect from Sauze, and many places in March to be fair as the temps warm up and you get more sun.
Make the most of it, its a great time to ski.
Just back from Bardonecchia which is just down the road and it snowed every night for a week and was dumping down as we left yesterday. I think you are infor a good time with plenty of snow unless you are just born unlucky.
Have a good time.

I know no one can predict the weather but I was about to book to Sauze D'Oulx starting Mar. 7 when I found that the temps next week and through Mar 10 or so (15 day forecast) are high--I mean, like 40's to 50's Farenheit (sorry not used to C). Does anyone know the area and if that will make a wet-snow, slushy mess there? Should I call it off until next year (sadly)?

I'm going to sestriere 7th march. I don't think u have anything to worry about. The weather forecast for the next week suggests that they are about to get a lot more snow. I was in courmayer at the start of march last year and the lower slopes did get a bit slushy late afternoon. But that's the price u pay for beautiful clear sunny days! Definitely not worth calling it off until next year.

Dont panic. I was in Sauze Feb 2007 when it was 15c on the slopes. It made for some slushy conditions on the lower run back into town, but we had great skiing and many got a good tan too!nancyn wrote:I know no one can predict the weather but I was about to book to Sauze D'Oulx starting Mar. 7 when I found that the temps next week and through Mar 10 or so (15 day forecast) are high--I mean, like 40's to 50's Farenheit (sorry not used to C).
