I did once end up hanging by my jacket from an old wooden slat chair. Only a few feet off the ground though. It's quiet a shock as you go to ski away at the top, and suddenly find yourself being sling shotted around 180 degrees hanging by your coat tails :oops:

I'm with you on the first part about the drunks screaming. Funnily enough those I've come across have all been either German or Dutch. They simply cannot take their beer, either that or they can but drink far too much of it.

Now then, this anti British rant of yours......lets get it into perspective. Britain contains a distinct lack of mountains and erm.....snow. This is why Brits go abroad to ski. Ok, maybe our technique is all taught and not as sharp as those that live in the Alps, but we do ok in the main. But overweight? Hmmm......the Brits I have always come across in any resort around Europe, and I've been to a few, have usually been the best dressed smartest looking people on the slopes. Its the fat Germans in their old school Spyder jackets that are the ones to laugh at. Either that or go to America if you want to see fat people.
