I used to hate trecking round looking for the best ski hire deals, now we pre order and it was a breeze :-)
I also used to hate the coach trip to resort, but we organised our our taxi this year and we had left the air port well befor the masses and the trip back at the end of the holiday was great, we drove past every one standing on the car park in Saalbach waiting to be loaded onto the coaches,got to the air port in good time-front of the que :D
Hate - back to Manchester and rubbish bagage claim-40 mins! and filthy toilets, welcome back to the UK :(

Must have been bloody awful. I would have expected him to be screaming though?

I can't think of anything I hate about skiing exept for one thing. Please explain it to me: crowds of drunks screaming on their way back to the hotel. Do you really have to get all the way to Alps to get drunk? They are obviously having the time of thie lives, telling everyone back home how great the skiing was. Why is that: Germans and Austians do have a few drinks but that doesn't seem to affect them ( or their skiing). Look at the Dutch or sorry to say, British: skiing technique is rubbish, overweight and unfit, nonetheless virtually with beer glass stuck to hand, any time of a day. Thats the impression I got from my skiing trips.
