Glacier 3000- skiing all year round, no suprise.

NOTE- Pics taken from google, will upload some of my own soon.

You'd be surprised if you did turn up with your skis "all year round", it's shut in the summer and has been for a few years.

Do try and get your own photo's though, if you've not got permission you should not be posting them.

those pictures appeared to belong to private individuals, if they belong to the Tourist Office then they possibly won't mind but you can't take it for granted. They may have been granted license to use them for themselves and not to allow reuse, I know my own default license acts in this way.

here's some that can appear here :

Now I'm liking the sound of that - any pictures or maps you can point us to?

There are hundreds of such runs all of them secret and only a few of us know them all :)

As long as the temperature is < 2 then you can ski new powder up to seven days after after a snow fall.

In principle follow the skiers not the boarders as they are generally clueless. (PS Dont go to Gstaad if you board, Everyone will hate you and you will hate the ski runs (lots of walking), Unless you are a Gay boarder, as I heard there is a niche community of gay boarders there)

Even better advice is go up one mountain and assess your powder routes on the opposite mountain

As I said very few people know all the secrets I took me 30 seasons to learn them, So you'll excuse me If I don't draw them on the Map!

Just to be fair to anyone who can work out these to routes

The Schoenreid powder ring: Rellerli -> Huebli - > SannersLochgrat - Hornberg -- Horneggli --> Rellerli. All in powder.
There's a five minute walk at about lunchtime.(then you can do it again.)

The Roesti Line : Zweisimmen to Rougmeont (clue you need a bus on TurbachStrasse - Eggli.)
and one train to get home !!
