Chamonix Lift Passes

We are going for Christmas 21-28 Dec & some will need lessons which aren't booked yet.It seems there are 3 types of area pass & for the family one will allow 2 children free passes on all these options, I will wait till they are back from holiday to get their ideas. I was hoping that Les Houches would be on the middle pass, but it seems it isn't & only on unlimited or Les Houches itself.
I agree Dids it would be perfect, I am just looking at the moment & very likely will buy in the resort & not online. Good point about conditions Ranchero before buying, it will help decision making when the others see the piste maps & where the lessons take place.

Hi again Brooksy,
If Cham pass included Les Houches it would be about perfect!
Unfortunately as you say it's only their own pass or the unlimited one.
We bought 4 days Cham and 2 Les Houches.

If there is no financial benefit in getting pass now I would consider waiting until you arrive.
1) Is early season so will Les Houches have good snow.
2) Last few seasons there have been substantial falls at this time of year making Les Houches the best place to ski.
Obviously given you are already looking maybe you don't want to leave until last minute. Still can get from in town so would not be a big deal and resort will be very quiet when first arrive.
