It does everything a smart phone needs, a damned site better than blackberry or android as well

There is no doubt that it is still a great product and i wouldn't buy anything else but it is starting to look quite stale.

When the iPhone was introduced there was nothing like it and without sounding too 'apple' it really was a game changer for mobiles. But now its just ordinary.
It pains me to say it as you know i am a HUGE Apple fan, but i am also honest.
What changed from the 4 to the 5? just the screen size and a shocking maps app really. Steve jobs would never have let that happen.

Since his death things at Apple have noticeably changed for the worse IMHO. I am now pinning my hopes on Jony Ive (who designed all of Apples iconic products) to turn things around as he now heads up the iOS team.

But surely if something is so good, why change it radically?
I liken Apple to Volkswagen as a brand.
Gradually got better and better with time, and now making first class products with loyal customers.

The iPhone is the VW Golf. Its been around a bit, looks pretty ordinary, but does a great job all round and theres really no point in considering much else. Its also sturdy and reliable. Does it need to be changed much? I dont think so.

As for the 5, I didnt want one particularly but Tesco Mobile with O2 were offering a free one for less per month for more benefits than O2 were offering me to have a new 4 with less benefits and at a higher monthly rate, no brainer. I didnt like the 5 at first - too tall and light, but Ive had it a few months now and its spot on.

AND it takes magnificent photos.

I honestly have no idea why anyone wanting a smart phone would consider anything else.
