iPhone 5

Adress book now transferred to iphone5, quite easy in the end just backed up the old and restored to the new iphone5 ... So all ready to go just awaiting transfer of old mobile number should be Tuesday or Wednesday......... so all good 8)

Had my 3GS for 3 years and never updated it as the 4, 4S and 5 did nowt really (why Apple claimed FaceTime was a breakthrough was beyond me as I had a Nokia that did that over 3G (remember the first FaceTime had to be WiFi) years ago)

So I had to upgrade as my 3GS was getting old - sized up all options and went for Galaxy S3. IMHO better screen, better camera, all the apps and the maps work properly (BIG consideration for me as I rely on my phone maps c/w GPS to keep my distances right on the golf course)

Personally - and its only me experience so don't flame me. but of the dozen or so peeps I know that have/had an iPhone 5 none of them are happy (hence some of them have even got their money back and gone elsewhere as Apple haven't sorted out their issues).

Still think Apple make good kit but its no better than anyone else nowadays in this arena

Right we can stop all this rubbish regarding you personnal dislikes or likes of the iphone5, as of yesterday my number was transferred and I am now up and running.

For the record, the camera on the Samsung does not take images anywhere near as good as the iphone 5. From experience.
