Söll is a good thought. It is a 5min skibus up to gondola, but a greatvillage ~ visit the village church, 14th century, with superb ceiling paintings. Stay at the Posthaus if you can, but a weekend may be difficult.
Travel suggestion for Söll. Train from Munchen Ost to Kufstein.

Dep 13.50, arr 15.04, 18.06 Eu, change once
If you have not used German trains before, when you buy your ticket, you will get an itemised itinary, detailing times, stations, platforms.
Then get a taxi from Kufstein to Söll. About 25 Eu. So overall cost may be slightly higher, but it will be quicker, and it will be to the door of your accomodation.
