No, Scratch BC were marketed as "powder skis" or backcountry. There is another Scratch model, FS, which were designed for park.

the bc bit stands for backcountry so technically there were marketed as an off piste ski i think but yeah, you're right-were pretty parky and by todays off piste standards they would be def park skis

I nearly bought some a couple of years ago on ebay and read a load of reviews and whilst they were supposed to be back country, the reviews said they were soft and floppy and really only good for pulling stunts on.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

I think I am going to wait till the sales at the end of the season and buy. Im in no rush to jump right in just now and buy straight away since I wont be going a ski holiday this year and the snow on Glencoe and Caringorm isnt really up to much just now.

So I will hold off a few months and try pick up a wee bargain if possible at a later date.

I'd buy a bike if you're planning on spending much time on Scottish hills......
