Conditions much better today. Yesterdays snow has really improved snow quality. Cold as well, so cannons augmenting natural snow. Looking forward to a good day tomorrow!

Driving to Pas de La Casa from Barcelona on the 9th February. I'm am a little worried because there is snow in the forecast for almost the whole day.
Where can I buy some "cadenas" to use in case it's needed? How safe is to drive to Pas in this conditions?

It's snowing now and special equipment needed from Canillo to France, so going by the forecast for the next week you will need. Maybe snow socks will be a cheaper short term alternative to chains if allowed.

That aside it looks like a good week for you.

There really is only one road which brings you through Andorra La Vella, Encamp Canillo, Soldeu and then on to Pas de la Casa. It would be unlikely that you will encounter snow before Andorra itself.
Quite a sizeable snowfall overnight and powder conditions on and off piste today. Its looking like a ski resort again!!!

Hope you made it safely to pas Viktor. Snow yesterday wasn't as heavy as forecast.
Clearing away nicely this morning. Looks like an epic powder day in Valira!

Absolutely fantastic blue sky powder day in Grandvalira. And more snow forecast tonight so Half Termers should have a brilliant week!

Brilliant weekend here in Soldeu. World cup ski racing to watch and powder day to look forward to. Will report back later.
