I go skiing quite a lot and try to get out to the Alps 3 to 4 times a year if I can (as often as my wage/wife allows!), Chalet-Hire.com is a really good site for ski chalet rental I've found. It's a really user friendly and nice site to use which puts skiers/boarders in contact with ski property owners. They seem to mostly have catered and self-catered ski chalets in France though, not as many in other ski resorts.
