What is it you like about Serre Che?

P.S. I thought Tony's favourite place was Mayrhofen?

Guess I like the French, tree line skiing, Vine Chaud, Beer, Food, Hot bathing pools, more beer, more skiing...Nice french ladies, and an occasional beer. AND being with a lot of like minded people. Sad really, @cause I like cricket too!
I know there are lots of other lovely places to go and am looking at Arraba next year as I fancy doing the Sella Ronda before I'm TOOO old

Cool.

Question then. For everyone. Do you think that people tend to go back to the same resort year after year, more than they experiment with different places?

Now I am an acknowledged boring OF and tend to go back again and again ...
Courchevel is my usual resort, been going for 25 years, 7 times in last 8 years. Tignes as well for late season (as this Easter), but first time for 5 years.
Done a season or more in each of these, know where to go, how to avoid queues, find good snow in most conditions etc etc.
We keep looking at alternatives to Courchevel that would work for us but with a non-skiing but mountain loving wife nowhere else has looked like it would work as well.
For some people returning to a resort again and again would seem daft, they want to explore. For others (like me) the knowledge that goes with familiarity draws us back.
Plus I can't read a piste map without glasses so not needing one is a real advantage
