What matters to me is easy and cheap access to the Eurostar railway station, gondola out and ski in, ski hire and a supermarket handy to the apartment, and of course a great ski area with a very efficient lift system. I don't mind much what the place looks like as long as it is clean, functional, and safe.

A traditional Village is on my list but higher priorities for me are:

1. Snowsure resort
2. Ski in/out accommodation
3. An extensive ski area
4. Lot's of bars and restaurants.

Snowbandit, you're quite right, I left out 'snowsure'.

That really is important. I don't want to go all that way, and spend all that money, only to discover there's no snow when I get there :cry:.

I have just had a big dump alert and there is a massive 11cm planned for tomorrow with more forecast for early next week.

Just looked at the webcams and it is snowing nicely in ADH.
20 days to go and it cant come quick enough.
