Thanks Tino,
But I'm sure one day you'll find Mrs Tino :D.
Tony,
I know I cheated and put everything down, but you needn't be so grumpy  At least I have a complete list now ready for my holiday.
Snowbandit,
Yes, it's a lucky thing I'm going on the train and the weight doesn't matter .
Going to bed last night, I realised I'd forgotten to pack my pyjamas! So I've got to do a second edit of my list (I bet pyjamas cost a fortune in Courchevel!). And I never packed shampoo or shower gell because my daughter always puts those in her suitcase together with massive amounts of make-up and girl stuff for herself.

Whats in your bag for a weeks skiing?
do you get around in your jocks of a nighttime Tony H - must have good legs 8)
You never know what anyone is wearing on them there slopes
Ally,
Have to disagree with that statement!
You are very lucky if you don't need one.
Nuff said.
But I was really asking about skiing stuff that people took, I wasnt really looking for the kind of detail that some people went into.
I still worry about the weight because of having to carry it all!
Totally agree Ally, worst ever invention burnt mine years ago, womens lib and all that

"one pair of boots and one pair of socks, two pairs of skis, three ski tops including my old favourite, one jacket, one pair of salo's and two hats why take gear you are not gonna use "
I take:
1 pair of boots
1 pair of skis now
6 pairs of socks
3 base layers (1 per 2 days)
3 mid layer fleeces
2 jackets
2 pairs of sallos
2 hats
1 pair of goggles
2 pairs of sunglasses as I always break or lose 1 pair
2 pairs of ski gloves
What about you?

The idea was to see what people took with them for skiing. Of course I take pants, socks, a pair of jeans, my wash bag, and a couple of sweatshirts and t shirts, and a pair of walking type shoe trainers things.cwagner wrote:Tony_H wrote:And I am not talking about for wearing around the chalet or going out for dinner.
