I love snails too,and all kinds of raw sushi...but could not imagine eating horse!

I'm not going to Val Cenis this weekend either. :cry: I did get back from VC last weekend though. Wonderful place. It was our first skiing trip. Now when I see all our skiing kit piled in a heap I feel bereaved.

Nice french villages. Ate horse and snails. :shock:

My name is tino and I am not going to Val Cenis, but I will be sneaking a long weekend on a glacier in May then going to Portillo in July (sorry Lynn). I like red wine too, in fact I am enjoying a cheeky wee Merlot right now.

Just realised why it is sooo quiet round here, tomorrow is a holiday and everyone is in the boozer...DOH!

Errm, I'm not sure you are meant to eat the whole horse Lisa, just the mane bit. :twisted:

And it's quite a good meal, if you have to eat on the hoof. :shock:
