Theres some good snow higher up all over the alps, assuming they havent already shut the lifts of course like they do in some smaller lower resorts.
I know I'd much rather be away this week than not.
This time last year I was in Verbier, and there was fresh snow on 3 out of 6 skiing days as low down as 1500m which is resort height there.
I have noticed that many places are seeing rain and warm temps now though. Still, like you said....better to be there and than here, eh?

Ian, I would be quite happy to go to VC, I've just seen the webcams (which were on this site)...and it looks like they have new snow.
I am off to Les Saisies this weekend - and they don't.

I'm hoping that the predicted rain either does not happen or it turns to snow - or we'll be getting in the car and heading elsewhere.

Hi, I am Sharon and I'm not going to VC....yet

Spookily enough I have been looking at booking there for next March (going to MontG in Jan) and was thinking of posting to see if anyway has been and what it was like. Looks like it gets the thumbs up from J2ers so I will call on my little plastic friend and make it a date.
