To make a good home movie ditch any thoughts of music and go el natural, if you must, fade it into the back ground, and may be add some voice overs so we can hear the beautiful sounds of skiing :thumbup:

I would rather hear natural sounds and the improvement to your video will be immense :thumbup:
I've been thinking about this.
I have to say that if you're watching a video of your own, sometimes its a little difficult hearing yourself - and by that i mean you might be embarrassed with what you said or how your voice sounds on video. If you're watching someone elses, you're probably really not very interested in hearing them breathe or pant as they ski down, or hear their kids shout "Daddy Daddy look at me" as they snowplough into a tree.
Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that a good skiing video requires a decent soundtrack.
Now, just the issue of what constitutes a "good" soundtrack to cover.......
