Many of us use an "avatar" for personalizing our entries. There must be a story behind each avatar which you may like to share. Whether it be a "beaver" or a locomotive or a rock star!
Just to get it started, my present avatar is a picture from the Sundance Chair Lift at Ski Martock in Nova Scotia. Another sunny morning following a night of freezing rain. The trees were a sight and the hill was in great shape as usual. :!: The sun rises at the top of the lift line!

I must be on my 25th avatar. Each one catches a moment when I was acheiving my goal of getting better, whether ski or board. Kind of, woe can't believe that's me type pictures.

In mine I am halfway through a full twisting front "pole-flip". I was about 14 and this was taken at Southampton Ski Slope in the UK.
It's one of the only remaining photos I have of my skiing carrer after my team manager lost my file of clippings & photos :( - Never lend people things you don't want to lose ...

All my Avatars are squirrel related.
