Might just be best to plane it off with a side edger, have you taken them in for a service yet ?

No, the bases and edges are in such good condition after the week in fresh snow that I didnt think they needed one. Maybe a hot wax before the next trip. Was thinking more of the discontinued lines at about 150 euro ... how about the Volkl Tiger Snow ??
Though they only have 175 left which may be a bit long.
