There is a big difference between a chav and a charv in my opinion though.... a chav is someone who chooses to dress a particular way and thinks its cool and possibly has a bit of an attitude problem.
A charv is just plain scary!!! :shock:

One thing I love about skiing......that thankfully I dont think charvs will ever discover it, and given what the people round here have been wearing in the snow showers we have had the past couple of days its a good job.....(vest tops and hotpants or shirtless for the lads)! I bet you miss those sights!!! :twisted:

I miss Newcastle a lot, but not enough to go back!!
You do get some charvers on the mountain, mainly English and German, dont see to many French ones mind.

Newbiggin Hall/Westerhope (near the airport). Did you mingle with the locals/stick to the civilised areas of town?!!!
I saw what the rest of the country would call 'chavs' when I was skiing, but I dont think I would see a true charva anywhere other than Ibiza/the toon!!! :lol:
