Think there's plenty to go round. We know a few people who live in resort and they're posting pics on Facebook after Friday's snow and it's immense. 6 more sleeps.... :-)

Will try, but believe me, there was more than a few cm!! Cars are buried. If you google "Easiski" there's a daily blog usually with some great pictures.

I was in L2A for the week before last.
There was some very windy weather around but I don't think L2A suffers from "wind" any more than any resort that includes extremely high skiing. Went up to the glacier once and it was unpleasant due to the wind, so we just came down and skied lower.
On this day the bulk of the resort/skiing was fine.
Only lifts really high up were affected.

There's been a few days in the last few weeks where the uppermost lifts and pistes have been closed for a time due to the wind, but as OldAndy says, you just drop down the mountain a little to avoid it. There are plenty of pistes of all abilities so you shouldn't find yourself without anything to do!

I've been twice previously in March, and had a week of blue skies and a sunshine, and another week of a bit of a mkixed bag. Our first time in January, so kinf of expecting it to be colder and with not-so-sunny weather maybe.

I wouldn't say it suffers from windy conditions more than anywhere else, it's just luck of the draw with the weather conditions lately.

I went to Les Deux Alps a few years ago and bought my wife what I thought was a very nice sweater with the name of the resort writ large on the front. She wouldn't wear it though as she said people might think she was boasting!
