Hi Tino
I am so jealous, this picture was taken in the last week of October 2007 when I was on a business trip to Vancouver.
It is Grouse Mountain above North Vancouver which is hidden below the clouds in the valley.
The ski area wasn't open except for the sightseeing lift which is why it is untracked.
The avatar is Lake Tahoe taken from Homewood ski area, which is another hidden gem in a large area.
Sorry for taking so much space up in your thread but I just had to share the photo which has been my screensaver ever since, oddly the only time I ever tried to ski in powder that deep (at homewood) I kept wiping out because I couldnt see my skis! :)

Don't apologise, I am about to invest cash I dont have in travelling to Vancouver and Whistler, the more I know the better. The way I feel this evening, I may never come back...

Have you anymore pics, say on flickr? Would love to see them!

sorry Tino
It was the only one.
I went without my camera and was given that photo by a collegue who was with me.
However I always found it best to preferably invest someone else's cash in skiing:mrgreen:
There are lots of rich women who go to Whistler for a vacation and I bet they will all "love your accent"!
It could be a career from heaven, you saying, "buy me a beer", and her just listening....
(You may gather from that I am not Gay nor have I have ever painted my nails in;
under, or over - coat.
Had a sore bum once when I fell on a scottish piste which as usual didn't have the rocks covered except by a layer of hoar frost)...
If Scotland ever got the amount of snow that Grouse had that day they would be open in June and still have teletext or the website claiming it was 12 inches deep.

it isnt fair that they get nice slopes and brilliant snow and thank god they cant speak jockanese.! :mrgreen:
