There was plenty to around ADH without going on it.
With only 4 days skiing and such great conditions I completely bottled it!!!

 You missed the best snow in the resort then! The powder over there was incredible.

Did you do the Sarenne and the Tunnel?

We had perfect views of the two reds Vernettes and Fontfroide from our bedroom which tempted us over the valley. So on the (not very) Scare Chair we went to try them out, and loved them.

Did the Sarenne on Tues 12th with ski school, perfect snow and blue skies - loved it. Went back to do it in one go (as ski school stops you every few minutes) on our last day, Sat 16th but unfortunatly it was closed early in the morning and we had to descend from top of Marmottes II. Unfortunatly didn't get to do the Tunnel though kept seeing it whilst going up on other lifts and did mean to fit it in.

Good news is there are loads more runs and areas for us to do so Ad'H is worth another visit (or two!)

Glad you enjoyed AdH Tony - it's been eerily quiet without you and your sock!

Jastem,
Are you missing the sock as well? It just doesn't seem like Tony at all without that sock. It was a nice, friendly, cheerful sort of sock :D

Hi Andy,

No I didnt and didnt achieve any of my targets for the week (or 4 days as it turned out).
I do feel however that my skiing improved immensely during my stay in ADH.
The lesson I had with Mel at Masterclass was absolutely superb for both me and my OH.

Maybe, if I can find a deal I will go back to ADH at Easter and achieve my goals.

Until then, I am going to start thinking about Serre Che in just under 6 weeks (maybe I will start a new thread for that one).

Let me just say that Stewart maybe set his goals a little high by suggesting he would do the Sarenne by the end of the week. It is not an easy run at all. However, Stewart improved his skiing massively last week, and his OH came on leaps and bounds too.
He wont need any targets for SC, other than making sure he perhaps ventures onto a few reds.
Well done Mr D.

Ally - not sure if missing is the right word, but it just isn't the same is it!
