The British four-man bobsleigh team have secured their first World Cup gold for two years at Winterberg in Germany.
After the disappointment of their sixth place finish at the Beijing Winter Olympics, the team of Brad Hall, Taylor Lawrence, Arran Gulliver and Greg Cackett became the first non-German team to win in Winterberg since 2012.
The race saw a return to World Cup action for Gulliver after a spell of 17 months out with injuries, that has included two surgeries, two major muscle tears and multiple bone stress injuries.
The progress the team has made from their 12th place at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics in 2018 is outstanding and marks them out as a genuine podium prospect for Milan-Cortina in just over a year's time.
