Australian resorts are reporting record levels of snow for early June.
Mt Buller in Victoria confirmed on Tuesday 07 June that they currently have the second most snow on record for this time of year and the best levels for 22 years. The resort opened early on 04 June.
At nearby Hotham Alpine Resort, the season tally is now up to 119cm already. The resort also opened early last weekend.
Thredbo will open for the long weekend in Australia (11 June), also with more than a metre of fresh snow.
