So, since I got my bike out, I've managed to get a puncture and a sinus / chest infection which has somewhat hindered my getting fit campaign.
Planning on starting again this weekend with Trenchers plans of 15 mins every other day of stretching (I have my little ski book of specific stretches) / 15 - 20 mins of bike riding.
Please question me on a daily basis so I can a) feel proud that I've done something b) get off the computer and do something c) tell a big fib.
Thanks.

I am feeling good after skiing last night (got rid of a few cobwebs) and have spent most of the day doing housework, now I am going for a walk to the pub...how much exercise can a girl get in one day!

Nelly,
That was my idea as well - posting what little exercise I'd done on here so that I'd have to do it.
Today I jogged 1/4 mile twice, so I have actually jogged 1/2 mile, but in two sessions. I can't find my 'fit to ski' exercise book so I'm a bit stuck now, although I can remember quite a few of the exercises.
Snowb4ndit,
Don't over do it now with the weight lifting in the pub - start with 1/2 pints before you move on to full ones

If you can't remember them I could scan bits of my book and email to you?

Nelly,
Thanks very much for your kind offer but I've already bought another one, second hand (10 minutes ago) from abe books for a total of £9-61 in case I couldn't find my old one. And in any case, a friend of mine wanted a copy as well so if my old one turns up the new one won't be wasted.
Is your book by somebody Ingham as well?
I'd be lost without my exercise book, and £10 doesn't seem much compared to paying a couple of thousand quid for the two of us to go on our ski-ing holiday.

I had to jog this morning in wellies and full waterproof gear, but I managed it.
Nelly, have you done your exercises today? (You did say we were to question you on a daily basis).
:D :D
