I'm off to post my Swiss residency application, think I'll walk down to the stamp machine which unfortunately has 4 bars between me and it. Oh well.

My summer fitness plan is firmly under way. The planning that is. Well, it's a start.

I started running in May. Got my first 5k race on 29th, my first 10k race in October and I'm building up the endurance as that lets me down when I'm skiing.

I cycle loads. I also drink lots of wine and eat too much.

On balance, I'm doing ok.... :D

My summer training starts here, I'm gonna get ready for snowboarding by going snowboarding ;)

Waiting for a train in the 30deg sunshine does feel a little odd with a 176cm board strapped to your back, it's kind of a mix between feeling uber-cool and at the same time a bit of a berk.

No prizes for where I'm going. Got all my new kit to test :)

I hope to god the scales I used at the pool this afternoon are wrong!! 14 stone!!

I'm tall and it's all muscle, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I used to fluctuate between 10.5 and 11.5 mind I was a bit on the skinny side.

Coped okay at 3800m today however, after getting the set up right I had a blast.

Well done! You're doing great not just ok :-)

I'm taking Dave Mac's advice and I WILL use my get fit for skiing book this year. It has plenty of exercises for strengthening the necessary parts of my body. In fact, I'll brush the dust off and start now. Life's too busy once October starts to be starting exercise plans. Much easier to continue with one I've already fathomed.
