Sorry, but that was not advice but an opinion based on what I would do, I would not cancel as there are other people in the equation to consider, eg family members !!!!

Don't cry. I knew you were joking. I mean, how can you put a plaster on a bad back anyway? And you did say 'sorry'.
I am a bit worried about Rosieposie though. Maybe she's decided to cancel her holiday and she's crying so much she can't type any more. Either that or she's laid out flat on her back and she can't type like that either.
Hopefully, her back's better and she's busy packing :D

There are all sorts of people who use this forum some are serious, some have a sense of humour, some are do gooders, are some just have a king Edward on their shoulder ....... who ever this person is they
have made some strange statements about being able to book holidays at a drop of a hat and not being sympathetic, we will just see if the decision is to go on the holiday and then await the apology.

OK, Touche! One of the problems of forums is of course that readers have no access to facial expressions to accompany the words, and words are just that. Maybe some of you veterans of the forum understand each other's writing style enough to be able to not misinterpret, and it may be the case with rosieposie and you Ian.
For me however, being one who suffers immensely from back problems, it just seemed a little unsympathetic, hence my incorrect response. Sorry!
Anyway, it's Maris Pipers that make the best chips! )
P.S. AllyG,are you Carms, Pembs or Cardi?

So thank you all for the good advice - hey put a plater on it man - you are from my school of sympathy however when you have been looking fwd to a holidy for 2 years and managed to get it in term time and you work in a school and a single mum and then go do your back in 2 days before a plaster just doesnt cut the mustard! - (lots of painkillers ice and heat will!) One happy bunny on her way to what will be a fab ski holiday.!
