Ooooh  I don't have Eurosport, so don't read their forum. However I do know John Clark, and can testify, that he does indeed ski very fast :D

You might be right. Sounds like it could be anyway. He usually says something like "hes lost far too much on this section" just before the skier comes over the line 2 seconds quicker....!!LOTA wrote:Tony H - I think the 'Irishman' you are referring to is Scotsman John Clark, former racer, speed skier and international coach. However, knowledgeable as he must be, he hasn't got a clue when to keep quiet!
The wintersports forum on the Eurosport website is full of comments asking that he please, please, please puts a sock in it!

He sounds nothing like David Coulthard  You can't be talking about the same fella I know
The John Clark I know, has extensive racing experience, and is an Olympian. He is well qualified to comment on how a racer is tackling each segment of a course, having been Manager of the Scottish Alpine Team. So although, a competitor may cross the line in 1st position, that lead may have been reduced if they made slight errors. It's a shame that the public don't appreciate his knowledge of the racing biz.
