Tony-H - I;ve been made redundant twice in the past 2 years. Each time I found a new job with the space of a few days/weeks.

Actually this time last year I was between jobs.

Perhaps the world is different today than it was last year - but there is always opportunty out there somewhere.

It's the way the other people jeer at him that got me, I've been in meetings and worked with people who behave like that. Mrs Ise asked me what the guy was up to now as he'd been right all along and I guessed they'd run him out of town, they obviously didn't like him to start with so they'll loathe him now.

Reminds me of the debate befor the Iraq invasion. The last eight years have been insane. The crazy thing is that just as it was with the war, so many here have no clue about the reality of this economy. Few believe that this is going to be bad for years.
