Very nice place, a quiet little village with access to the best skiing of the area. I've stayed in the Mondschein as well, in fact I recommend it to someone here recently.

Just over the mountain from Saas Fee is the quiet and beautiful small italian resort of Macugnaga (pronounced MACKun YAGa).

Nearest Rail station is 'Domodossola' then get the local bus from opposite the train staion up to Staffa (it's 1 hour of 'italian job'hair pin bends).

Nearest A/Ports are Milan Malpensa & Bergamo.
