If ever there was "proof" that a picture is more than just a visual representation of reality is the picture you are all seeing of Mike!
He has really mastered the visual media and expressed many feelings. A famous Canadian known as the guru of modern media said, "the medium is the message"

You see some of those "articles" were won by Mike many many years ago when he was a neophyte in the ski world and still believed that you never had to wax your skis! That "leeks" really do exist on ski runs! That going straight down a ski run at 2km/hour was fast skiing!
That background poster is where he is planning to ski once he gets "ski feel" like Ellistine!
If you look carefully, you will all note that the Spyder logo on his chest is "glowing"! What more to say!

The background had a few more items but not to take too much space it has been trimmed to this size. It certainly wasn't Pavel's Wall - but it was a meger beginning.
