Paul,
Thanks once again
White Ring and St. Anton are on my "must do" list for this trip.
I'll try to do the Ring as early as possible beware of your warning about "Madloch".

Take the Schindler chair in st Anton right to the top and start with e red section, stop for a drink at the cafe, and then ride the blue to stuben going past alpe rauz. It's a lovely long run, although we like to ski the itinerary route just above it as well.
Stuben has some really fun slopes
Hi Tony,
Thanks for the tip
Is the cafe you recommend along the e red section?
Cheers,
Thank you Tony:thumbup:
Am I right in t inking that White Ring includes a trek on foot in Lech from one side of the valley to the other?
Cheers,
No idea sorry
I just tend to go up a lift and ski whatever's up there
Thank you Jastem
It sounds a short trek in Lech -)
Quick refreshment is a good idea. Can you recommend any places nearby?
Cheers,

It's the ulmer hutte you want, bottom of red 14 top of blue 17 which goes to alpe rauz.
You can take the arlenmähder chair from down the back of galzig right to the cafe

If you start the circuit in Zug, then you will have to cross the main road in Lech to get to the Rufikopf cable car. It's not a problem and you could always have a quick refreshment stop there anyway! We usually start with the Rufikopf cable car thus completing the Ring back in Lech.
There is also a particularly annoying bit of poling on the red route back down to Zug.
