You know when you have skied well and when you haven't. When you have have played it to safe and not fallen during the day. When you pushed yourself and so what if you wiped out a couple of times.When you get to the bar the beer is that much sweeter as you were up for the challenge and happy to talk about it over a couple of light ales!!

and if the wipe outs are bad, at least the drugs at the hospital will be good :wink:

(1) I don't think anyone has ever accused me of being wise before 8)

(2) Nothing wrong with things going "t*ts up", there's generally less bruising that way...

(3) What is this "Black Thursday" of which you speak? Do you only ski difficult runs on a Thursday, or is it the day before going home?

(4) Can I trade my list of waffle for your OH's list of assorted swear words?

My skiing epiphany came when I discovered 'freeride' is not just a marketing term.

I'll admit to having to google "freeride". First thought was that it was some kind of points collection customer loyalty scheme for brothels, but it turned out to be off piste instead :roll:
