Travelling to Ellmau on the 18th Jan 2014, can I expect snow back to the village?

Judging by Ellmau's lower/upper slope snow depth history, I'd say you're pretty safe :)
Village height is 820m with the lowest lift being 650m and the highest being 1865m

It's difficult to get information on the village it's self and the location of the hotel in relation to the lifts do you know of any web sites

You should be good in mid-January... below is a chart showing last years snow depths (it's a sneak preview from new snow history pages we're launching shortly) ...
Last year there was around 50cm at resort level. No guarantees it'll do the same, of course, but no need to worry either! 8)

Thanks Nick we are staying at the Sporthotel, are travelling with the family and very much looking forward to it, snow forecast for Boxing day much needed i think!
