Salzburg

Can anyone recomend a ski resort near Salzburg? Also, if anyone is intersted in sharing a chair lift, I am planning to be in the area the week of February 20th. Sure would enjoy if someone could show me around the mountain. )

there are quite a few decent resorts about an hours ride from Salzburg...give us some idea of what you are looking for

Just back from Flachau last week, 45 min transfer from Salzburg would recommend.

Scladming is just over an hour by coach and has a train station which you can get direct from Salzburg. Skiing great. Not overloaded with Brits which many folk like. There are transfer buses there from the airport which you book direct from the resort. These generally work around the German flights into Salzburg. If you are interested I can give you more details.
