I maybe looking at a visit to Austria in March, well either Austria or the Dolomites, if it is Austria then it will be the 'Salzburger Sportwelt ' area, plenty of skiing, pretty good snow record, but does anybody know if the areas are well linked ?

For a brief moment I thought it was another dreaded post about Niederau, not that I have anything against that resort it appears to be heavily spoken about. Never been to 'Salzburger Sportwelt ' area, however looking at the Website it looks great, would be interested myself in going next year if anyone has further information.

I'm not going to Niederau :thumbup:
Mind you until I joined this forum I don't think I knew it existed and now feel I know the place intimately - the runs, the buses, the drinking holes even the local firewater to avoid.

Ian. Given a choice at that time if year, I'd probably head to the Dolomites, especially as its somewhere I'd love to ski anyway. Arabba, Selva, Cortina, Canazei....all look fantastic to me.
As for Austria, I reckon I'd be looking at either Schladming or Bad Gastein.
Ski Miguel do a couple of well priced places in Gastein, might be worth a look.

I'm not going to N as far as I know. Still not booked for the end of Feb so you never know :)
