Watcha
12 of us (average age 30) are planning to come up to Andorra for one night and 2 days skiing/boarding on 22nd Jan. We have never neen to the resort so wouldnt mind some advice on the best resort to stay for good skiing and nightlife without having to travel ie ski to resort, Apres ski and then sleep! B&B advice would be good too.
Thanks in advance.

My daughter this year has told me she would like to snowboard, so I have said to her I will pay for a taster lesson just to see if she does enjoy it.

Soldeu or Pas de la Casa definitely, and Pas probably has the more lively apres ski. You can ski right into the heart of the resort there.
Sorry dont know about accommodation, but try the tourist authority website, they are very helpful people over there.

Advice needed. My teenage boys want to learn to Board. One can Ski and suggests the other learn skiing as well. How do you book a mixture of boarding lessons and skiing lessons and can you exchange boards and ski's willy-nilly, or do you have to just bite the bullet and hire both for the week.

3 years ago we went with Direct Travel to El Tarter & one of the options with the ski hire was to do snowboard taster session on the last day - swapping your hire skis & boots for barding kit.
I've not come across the option to swap skis to baords & back several times but I guess it depends on the hire shop. I guess it would be harder to dip in & out of group lessons. Less of an issue for private lessons.

Thankyou Andy. I suppose its just something you request when you hire. Do you know, is it always possible to just hire equipment whe you get to the resort?

Loads of hire shops available throughout Andorra. Best to sort something when you are there.
