Hello all
I'll be in Milan next weekend (13 March).
What's the best place to go for a one day skiing?
I'll have to go and come back on the same day...
By car or by train?
How long will it take?
Thanks :)

I looked at j2ski before but there's not much info on Italian resorts...
Also, not much info on how to get there either...
I'm sure somebody has tried skiing when near Milano so I'll wait for more advices.
Thanks anyway.

This link might be a little more useful. Try running a search on either of those resorts to see if it brings anything up as far as access is concerned.

From mialn you get the train (2 and a half hours) to tirano and then a bus to Bormiowhich is easy enough but maybe not ideal for just one day-Aprica is closer and so is Santa Caterina which is a nice resort as far as Im aware
Thought Torino is close no?
