Dave

Use www.skiset.com or www.snowbrainer.com to prebook your skihire as you can benefit from discounts. I have used snowbrainer to book my equipment for when I hit Niederau on the 6th.

As for ski passes, I can't help you there. Dave Mac would know. But check out http://www.wildschoenau.com/sport/winter/en/tmp_1_763464687/Wildschonau_Lifts___ski_pass_prices_detail.aspx

Hope this helps. You'll have to let me know what the skiing conditions are like because I can't jeffing wait....

book through skiset and go for the bronze one as when you are in the shop you have to fill out all the details all over again like a new booking and they give you whatever is right for you anyway. they dont ask what you paid or whether you got the bronze pack or the premium pack. this was at the margreiter place. they have good facilities for 2 euros each day to keep your skis, boots, poles, helmet overnight so you dont need to lug your skis back to the apartment. when we went last year we paid for lift passes on the day. have a great time

Believe me Eric in there will know EXACTLY what's been paid and whilst I agree that you would need to fill out all the detail again if booking through skiset I would recommend you book the level of equipment relevant to yourself or book the basic and upgrade in there if need be. The booking system is all computerised so at the click
of a button he can pull up what's been prepaid etc.
I decided to have a life change and be more spontaneous. Starting tomorrow.
