Off to Sauze d'Oulx in a couple of weeks.

It wasn't where we were originally going to go,but our first choice.

So has anyone been and how much are the lifts. Web sites says £180, which seems rather pricey compared to Bardonecchia, where our original booking was.

How much are per run passes anyone know?

Any other tips, taking my own equipment

When are you there? We are just over the crest in Sansicario on the 24th Jan. Went to Sauze in 01 and 03 and had a great time - as part of the Milky Way, there's a huge area to ski / board and Sauze has a great night life too if you wanna party.

Cant comment on lift prices etc as done ours thru the travel agents as part package.

Snow looks good at moment and more to come - think we gonna have a great time!!! :D
Not ALL boarders sit in the middle of pistes.....

Hi,we are going to Sauze d'oulx next weekend(sun jan 10th 2010,for 7 days) 5 of us in total. We booked online and got a decent deal Half-Board at "Hotel- Relais des Alpes",going with First Choice, flying with Thompson Fly.
We booked the Lift passes with First Choice, over the phone and got a Area Lift Pass for about £167 Each.I am taking my own Skis, which cost £30 Return on the plane(for 1 pair of Skis) and these are The Small Blades!(same price for standard skis),if you pre book,or can cost more if you don't,as the First Choice rep said they charge about £10 per kilo at the Aiport! So Pre-Book is a Must,if you are taking Skis?
Food and Drink in the resort sounds expensive, not too bad for a ski resort though!,with a beer costing around
4 euros and a slice of Pizza 6 or 7 euros?(this info was given to us by someone on this site).
Hope you have a nice time,as we hope to soon!!!!!!
hope this helps you out?
Steve

Ta for you answers

Disappointed that the lift passes are so expensive, the resort we were going to go to, class 17 Jan as low season. Last year paid £118 at Livingo

Theres 400km of pistes on the Vialattea pass, I dont think its expensive.
Its a great ski area, and Sauze and Sestriere have some great runs. Sansicario has some nice runs if the link is open.

I would recommend Livingo, thinking of going back in March, maybe.

The only drawback of Livingo is the transfer time from Milan.

Is your suitcase not big enough for blades to go in diagonally?
