Hiya,
Can anyone recommend somewhere to get good/cheap thermal under-clothing suitable for skiing - ie keeps you warm and 'fresh'?
I heard that Lidl were doing some last year, but I don't believe that's the case this year.
Thanks.

I bought cheapo thermals t shirts and bottoms in Primark, £2.50 each bargain.
Trouble is, I get too hot in them.
I have never worn thermals, I just don't feel the cold
i know what you mean, apart from the first run of the day! I found that the thermal gear from Matalan is very good

I would seriously think twice. I bought a few items from there last year, quality was poor to be honest.
I'd seriously suggest you head for Decathlon. They sell a lot of Quecha and Wedze stuff, all of which is budget, and they have just stocked up on base layers and thermals. Tops and bottoms would cost around £18 combined.
Alternatively, you could buy other breathable stuff for running or cycling to layer up under your jacket. I got hold of some Kalejni tops which I use as base layers, and they were superb in terms of dealing with sweat and keeping me warm too. I paid £7 for each one, but they are £13 this season.

I would have got away with it if it wasn't for those pesky kids!
