We are going soon to Niederau my wife , son of 20 , 15 and his mate and wonder is it expensive to eat and drink out at nite. Looking at the forum the cave, sports bar and o,malleys all seem to go down well at some point.

Not especially, although the current exchange rate no longer makes it cheap.
Niederau is certainly cheaper than, for example, St Anton, but I wouldnt call it "cheap".
Be prepared to spend more than you expect to. Its the little bits that add up: drinks and snacks up on the slopes in particular.
