Going to Neiderau on the 24th, booked with Inghams through Lastminute.com. I realise everyone always says get the stuff when your there, but Inghams currently have the following prices on their website: £81 for board hire, and £134 for the area lift pass.
Does anyone know how much the lift pass is to buy out there?
It's myself and my girlfriend going, she's been skiing for about five years previous, but a novice to boarding. This will be the second time I've been boarding in about 8 years, so we're not looking for equipment that is too technical!
Lift pass and ski/board hire - buy in Neiderau or with Inghams?

Hi,
The lift pass cost for a week is 150 Euros, so with the exchange rate as it is you're probably better off paying the £134 for it.
Have a great time

Thought that might be the case, but just wanted to check with people in the know! :)
Cheers, I'll ring them up later and make sure the website price is correct.
Is board hire at £81 quite a good price, it seems I'd pay similar in euros when I'm out there?

Hi folks - new to the site today, but also in the Wildschonau 24th Jan for a week. We travel independently so having to buy locally. As blodyn says it's 150 euros and we'll take the hit on the day. Anything you can save by buying in advance I'd take.
Fourth time there for us - I've skied all over the place but keep going back there for the ambience...we stay in Oberau and like it so much we got married there!
Cheers,
David

Never mind, I phoned on Friday but Inghams couldn't do anything because it is less than two weeks to my departure date.
Really looking forward to it now though, especially after just looking at all the snow Niederau is supposed to get this week! :D
