What level skier are you, and how much do you like to cover, as you might find yourself wanting away and heading off to Auffach, Skiwelt of further afield to the likes of Mayrhofen.

:D solo traveller heading off for a week, anybody else going out there same time, could do with some info on the village or hotel schneeberger if anyone out there has stayed there please. x

Schneeburger's fine, good food, comortable, edge of the village centre, halfway between the two lifts.
I will be taking another couple of weeks there again in March, but I usually take in the season end. I am off there on Friday for two weeks.

Amanda, to save everyone from Niederau overload, suggest you enter "Niederau" into "search chat" at the page top. If you get less than a couple of thousand responses, I would be most surprised.
Look for those responses by myself and Jan I Stenmark, ignore all the ones where I get over-passionate about the place, and you will have pretty well the complete N. picture. Lots of good info by other people too.

I did Hopfgarten at Christmas and ski'd the ski welt area Soll etc, i basically wanted a week away without my son 17 who spent all christmas on the wrong sort of 'piste' with his mate and had 1 out of 7 days boarding, i just want to improve my ski-ing this is about 4th trip, i've also booked ski school for a week so should be okay. and picked niederau cause it was no single supplement first time on my own, thanks
