Hi,

Although I am having a week skking with my family I am going on a four day blast with five lads to Maria Alm. One of the guys has a time share swop which we are utilising. However I know absolutely nothing about this resort ! Is there a good choice of blues ? (I am a lazy skier)! Accessabilty ? Apres Ski etc ? Anyone ???

Maria Alm is a great litle resort. Very pretty lots of tree skiing and loads of blues and reds.
Its about 1hr max drive from Salzburg.Just get to Saalfelden and turn left at the main roundabout and go up the hill for about 10 mins.
Apres ski ok, but nothing riotous!
Snow is normally really good.
They are expecting about another 1m in the next few days.(reliable info from Lofer, about 25 kms away.)
Enjoy!!

It gets a good write up in WTSS, although the skiing appears to be spread out over a wide area, and they say a car is essential to get about.
