how far is plagne 1800 to belle plagne !!!!!!!

hello, can anyone advise me how far belle plagne is from plagne 1800.i am staying in 1800 but need childcare for my little one and was wondering if it was practical to put him in creche there!!i know it wont be ideal but it is an option!!! have had contridicting reports some say its 1 hr away some say 1/2 hr and others say 10mins by bus please help if possible!!! cheers russ

Hi russco.
To get to Belle Plagne from 1800 you need to take two buses. Leave 1800 and then change at either a stop or at Plagne Centre.
It only take 10mins (probably less) to get to Plagne Centre - but then you'll have to wait for the next bus that leaves for Belle Plagne. That could be a while.
The bus from Plagne Centre does only take a further 10mins to get to Belle Plagne though.
ANYWAY - with all that I wouldn't recommend it....
I'd suggest finding child care in Plagne Centre and then starting your skiing day from there too.
Grumpy cold kids only produce grumpy adults. Make you life easy and skip the idea of a creche in Belle Plagne.

Hi,
I really would not suggest going up to Belle Plagne, but plagne centre is a good idea, providing you dont mind getting the bus up. Also it is easy to get everywhere from there on skiis and much easier to get back to than belle Plagne
