The French Village of Belle Plagne is part of the La Plagne ski area with access to 225km of downhill skiing, with 128 individual pistes, served by 109 ski lifts. From Belle Plagne you can ski to the other villages of Aime La Plagne, Champagny en Vanoise, Montchavin-Les Coches, Plagne 1800, Plagne Bellecôte, Plagne Centre, Plagne Montalbert, Plagne Soleil and Plagne Villages.
The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.
