The resort was very busy at the weekend, and there was quite a crush for the cable cars.
Some more photos on my picasa page http://picasaweb.google.com/bandit2106/ZermattNov08# and a trip report with photos on my blog :D
Now, for absolutely no prizes whatsoever....Name the mountain in the top photo )

I read somewhere that the shape was the inspiration for Toblerone :D

Oooh I got a geography question right. My sense of direction and geography is well noted to be one of the worst.

Yes Ross, well spotted, a rather neat single set of tracks too 8)
Rose, that's us both getting lost in the car park then! If we get to ski together we'll need to take ise with us as he can do navigation quite well )
Daved, thanks :D BTW the new snowmaking machine up at Trockener Steg is paying dividends AFAICS. The snow base is pretty deep, and there is plenty of terrain to explore. I saw snow cannons working below T.S, and by the time you arrive the runs down to Furi should be ready.
The very top station of the Klein Matterhorn is still a building site, with the new entrance to the Glacier Palace and the new restaurant still under construction. The run down is still breathtaking though...as you would expect at 3800m :D
The snow quality was wonderful, dry and slightly squeaky. The sort of powder that I ski on in my dreams :D
