Having been out all day yesterday I logged on in the evening and, given how busy the forum is at the moment, I was on here quite a while.
My better half is on the verge of giving me an ultimatum - him or J2ski. I need help! Dave, do you have any support groups or does anyone know of any way to wean yourself off slightly?
I'm sailing pretty close to the wind at the moment :-(
My marriage or J2ski?

Hi Caron, I can relate to you in that issue, I play bass in some bands and spend some time learning songs, gigging and practicing, I also post alot on a bass players forum, and we also have meetings to get to know everyone. My other half thinks I spend too much time with bass and music in general.
I've tried to explain to her that music is what keeps me from killing someone after a 9-5 job, and it helps me to stay way from drugs .
In all seriousness, try to explain how it makes you feel when you have some minutes on your own just posting and reading about your favourite sport. And how important it is to your life. As long as you don't disreguard all the other things in life and are able to keep a healthy balance, I think your best half should understand.
Ok enough rambling, just take him with you skiing of piste and leave him there.... :D

I have spent a lot more time on J2 recently am home from work for several weeks recovering after an op. Hubby thinks its great I spend a lot of time on here, otherwise,
1.I would spend a lot of money on ebay.
2. I dont notice how much time he spends on his lap top, chatting on all the various forums he is a member of
